Dance Schedule for May 2008

Dances start promptly at 8:30 pm and end at 11:30 pm. Admission is $9. A contra dance lesson for beginners is given every Friday starting at 7:30 pm and is included in the price of admission.

May 2 -- Herschel Nelson calls to Sugar Beat, who are Elke Baker on fiddle, Susan Brandt on flute, and Marc Glickman on piano.

May 9 -- Ann Fallon with the fabulous Glen Echo Open Band.
This dance will be held in the Bumper Car Pavilion.

May 16 -- Anna Rain calls to Mary Lea's band. Besides Mary playing fiddle, the band has Anna Patton on clarinet, Dave Wiesler on piano, and Paul Oorts on strings and accordion.

May 23 -- Tori Barone with Avant Gardeners. The band features Laura Light on fiddle, with George Paul on piano and accordion, Dave Wiesler on piano, guitar and mandolin, and Dan Sebring on guitar.

May 30 -- George Marshall and Tim van Egmond calls to and plays with with Swallowtail. Swallowtail has David Cantieni on wind instruments, Ron Grosslein on fiddle, Timm Triplett on piano, George Marshall on concertina, and Tim van Egmond on hammered dulcimer.
