Dance Schedule for November 2005

Dances start promptly at 8:30 pm and end at 11:30 pm. Admission is $8. A contra dance lesson for beginners is given every Friday starting at 7:30 pm and is included in the price of admission.

November›18 (Dance held in the Bumper Car Pavilion) - Ann Fallon calls to Terpsichore ( - with National Scottish Fiddle Champion Elke Baker (fiddle), Liz Donaldson (piano) and Ralph Gordon (bass) combining lyrical melodies with driving dance rhythms.›Tonight's dance will honor the dances of›Ted Sannella, a central figure in the revival of New England contra dance, on the tenth anniversary of his death.

November 25- Beth Molaro›calls›to Laura and the Lava Lamps ( - Laura Lengnick (fiddle), Ralph Gordon (bass), Dave Wiesler (piano)--a hit with both Glen Echo and national crowds, featuring jazz-inspired improvisations on tunes from the Northern, Southern, and Celtic traditions.
