Recommended attire

The Spanish Ballroom is neither heated in the winter nor air-conditioned on hot days, so be prepared! Fans relieve the heat in summer. Dress casually and in layers. The ballroom has a treasured spring board floor that it is important to preserve.  Comfortable, soft-soled, low-heeled preferably dance shoes are recommended.  They will present less friction when spinning. Perfumes or scented powders may trigger allergies in other dancers.  Better leave them at home.  We also recommend that you bring a bottle of water with you.

The Bumper Car Pavilion: the BCP is open on three sides and lets the breeze in when the flaps are up.  Dress as you would going outdoors but remember that dancing will warm you up.  So layers are recommended there too.
